Well, one week there's frost on the windshield, the next week it's tropical 90+ humid, so that can mean only one thing:

2013 Banquet Invites

CWIRA Spring Meeting Apr 7/Banquet Apr 20

By now you have probably gotten the Banquet invites in the mail.  Over the course of the "date change" for the Banquet some confusion was created over the Spring Meeting date as well.

The CORRECT dates are:

Spring Meeting:  Sunday April 7th 10am - Legion Hall in Neillsville.  The will be serving a great breakfast beforehand so take advantage of that if you can!

CWIRA Awards Banquet:  Saturday April 20 - Cocktails 4:30, Dinner 6:30 with the awards to be presented after the meal.

I hope this clears up any confusion - these dates have been given to me after being double & triple checked for accuracy!

Follow the Points/Results tab to see the updated RAW points after the season finale at Hatfield.  Be advised the "Worker Points" adjustments have been made but the "Throw Out" races have NOT YET BEEN REMOVED.  I should have all the data up Monday night.

Final Race at HATFIELD!

Just a reminder that the final race of the 2013 season is now going to be at Hatfield.

Weyauwega & Dexterville

As we move into the action of February, a couple things:

This weekend the race at Weyauwega will again share the Fire on Ice spotlight with the USSA Champ Sleds.  All times will move one hour early so be ready to start racing before 9am.  We will have sign-up open at 7am.  There will NOT be any GP classes running at Weyauwega.

Next weekend the Wisconsin State Ice Racing Championship returns to Lake Dexter South of Pittsville.  Because of the Hatfield cancellation in week three we will ALSO have a FULL CWIRA POINTS RACE on Saturday at the same location.  Normal times both days.

A reminder about "Worker Points" - if you do not get a full day of working in you will not receive ANY points for the year.  There are only a limited number of races and worker spots left so don't get caught at the end of the year without a spot to work!  If you have ANY questions about this PLEASE contact John Strangfeld.
