2015 CWIRA Membership Is Now Open!
Winter is officially here!
Yes, I know it's in the 70's today, but at least you can renew your 2015 CWIRA Membership while thinking of frozen water.

Two new classes this year, Old Skool Quad and Outlaw Pee-Wee.
The date for the Fall Meeting is not set in stone yet but I figure the end of October or first weekend in November. Last I heard it will again be at the Hall in Neillsville - but please wait for the OFFICIAL announcement before taking that info as the last word.
Any questions call the hotline at 715-212-6340. You'll get the voicemail during the day when I'm at work but I'll be available after 6:30pm. Email via cwirainfo@gmail.com

The Awards List
Here is the list of riders receiving year-end awards at the banquet.
How this list is created:
Points are awarded based on overall finishes at each of the events.
To have the points count towards awards riders must complete the "worker" requirement as listed in the 2014 CWIRA Rule Book (PeeWee & Junior riders/classes are exempt). Riders racing on their "work week" do not get any points awarded for that day.
The worst finish (other than the week worked) is removed from the total.
Riders are ranked based on the resulting points totals. We do not skip over riders who don't qualify for awards.

TOMAH! TOMAH! Tomah-2!
Well, here we go again.....
Fremont is as bad as the other lake in the area as far as the water. After checking the ice at Tomah (it's pretty good actually) - it has been decided to move the final race of the 2014 CWIRA season to Tomah for.....
TOMAH-2!
All the regular classes, normal start times. Same place as the Mid-Season Champ Race. Time to wrap this season up in style - see you all in Tomah March 2!

Humbird Cancelled
Well, the water demon has struck again. The added snow from Friday pushed the water up on the track and the ice at Humbird is flooded out forcing a cancellation of the Feb 23 event.
This race was a charity event to raise money for the Wrightville Chapel Church damaged just before Christmas by fire. The food for concessions were donated to help with that cause - they will now go to a Chili Feed fundraiser at the Hotel Bar in Humbird on Sunday.
