Good to go!
As of 6:30pm Saturday all is a go for Sunday at Amherst. If you have a "smartphone" make use of the twitter @cwira feed for any potential updates.....but so far we are in great shape. Also remember the "raceday hotline" number is 715-212-6340 if you need to call in from the road and check "what's up". I update the voicemail message ASAP whenever there is a race status change.

Amherst Update!
This just in from Mark Powers of the USSA:
"***TLR cup race will be ran on Saturday at the Portage County Ice Wars instead of Sunday*** We appoligize for the inconvenience but mother nature rules. We will still have a full schedule of USSA and CWIRA racing on Sunday."
This is a move of the SNOWMOBILE race ONLY. All CWIRA races will still run on Sunday. What this all means for CWIRA - not much. Except that we now will not have to clear the track for the 3pm feature snowmobile race and will be able to "race till done" per the schedule. Also, the Sunday program should conclude earlier than expected because we are taking out all the presentation stuff surrounding the TLR Cup event.
Remember the time schedule: Registration at 6, hot laps 7, racing at 9.

Triple Crown Race Order
The "Triple Crown" races will be run as part of a larger race event featuring USSA and Vintage Snowmobiles, as well as ALL our CWIRA classes.
A tentative "order of the day" has been posted on the USSA site: http://www.ussaprostar.com/Order_of_the_day.html
For the most part, we run as normal for the first half of the day. In the 2nd half our classes will be intermixed with the sleds. This plan will be modified (if needed) based on what we learn at the Amherst "Ice Wars" event.
